Uttar Pradesh has emerged as a preferred investment destination, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said, citing favourable industrial policies, rising revenues and growing interest from major companies. The state, which currently exports around Rs 2 lakh crore annually, is targeting Rs 5 lakh crore by 2030 as it seeks to attract more global investment and strengthen tourism and local brands.
