A person was killed and another injured in an ambush by suspected militants in Manipur. The attack targeted civilians traveling to Phaikoh for essential goods and occurred in Kamjong District. One victim, Hatneikim Haokip, is believed to have died immediately, while her husband sustained injuries. Two other civilians involved in the incident are currently unaccounted for and their fate remains unclear.
