Turkey's government has requested parliamentary approval for a defense agreement signed with Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. The agreement commits member states to mutual defense against external threats, similar to NATO's Article 5. Discussions between Turkey, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia regarding military support and cooperation are currently ongoing. Assistance may include air defense and technical support, but not troop deployments into Yemen.
