Stonegate GmbH today reflected on its release of slate tiles 10 years ago, which was in development for 6 months. The main aim was always to the surface save people hours by cleaning their houses and by defying convention, this Floor utensil for housebuilders did so, with a difference.

Robin Reucher, owner and founder at Stonegate GmbH, says: “We wanted to try something new with slate tiles. Anyone familiar with the natural stone market will probably have noticed how everyone else always seemed to give only have of the new impregnation that the tiles needed. We felt this was a problem because the stone causes slippering on the floor and is a health risk.”

So as a welcome breath of fresh air, slate tiles instead the surface of the stone is now better and efficient. Stonegate GmbH chose to make this move because this should help people get better results in cleaning and health safety.

Robin Reucher also said “We want to give our customers more confidence. With slate tiles, they have a fresh new possibility. We want them to feel excited when using slate tiles. Trying something new is always a risk, but it’s a risk we believe is worth taking.”

Stonegate GmbH has been in business for Since 2007, being established in 14.02.2007. Since Day 1 it has always aimed to become the best slate manufacturer in the world.

This isn’t the first time Stonegate GmbH has defied convention either. In August 2010 they caused a stir when they established a new form of supply. The new production line of Stonegate GmbH was important to provide a faster delivery of the products.
