Highland Dental Lab in Albuquerque NM is one of only a few removable specialty labs.
A good Dental Lab acts as a simple and positive extension to a dental practice to fabricate removable products that represent the talent of the dentist, according to Matthew Neighbors of Highland Dental Lab in Albuquerque NM. More information here http://www.highlanddentalnm.com/home.html
Dentists gain from dental labs that are relatively local, provide same day services, on-site consultation, biocompatible products and quick solutions to their most challenging cases.
Dentists choose Highland Dental Lab because of their patient focus. High volume dental practices in particular can sometimes run on tight ‘time-per-patient’ schedules. Often, because of a busy day, lack of double checking between the Dr and assistant can sometimes mean not all the information, or not the best information is passed on to the lab.
At that point it often falls to the Dental Lab to make it work even if all the information they would ideally have is not there. A good Dental Lab will still make it work.
Matthew adds … ‘in this business, we have to know how to make it work. But I don’t just wanna make it work, I wanna make it great, I wanna make it great for the patient … the secret to being a great Dental Lab is the patient focus, and knowing that at the end of this there is a person who’s confidence and happiness is at stake’.
Covid-19 has impacted Dental Labs because of dentists not needing them of late. Highland Dental Lab in Albuquerque NM closed their doors on March 19. When the doors open again, they have plans in place to work in the ‘new normal’ with dentists (existing clients and new), and help make the transition to the new way of doing things seamless for them.
Matthew closes with ‘I got into an industry where we change people’s lives, we change people’s lives every single day’.
